Life is a drug, an overdoses of life can be lethal. If we dream we die but that kind of death is not dangerous, at least not for our heart. 
We have to choose between the reality and fantasy. We've got the power to fly without wings but it's funny that we always forget that we will fall and we will end our days turned into pieces.
Yes, life is a drug and we love to smoke it, to inhale it, to drink it, to bleed it but life has no small letters nor forced contracts; deep breathing can save us, life can confuse us, life will betray us.
Life is the drug, freedom is the side effect. Are you ready to swallow the pill?
Hurry! 'cause time will never forgive our body of dust.

'The Drug' es un cortometraje realizado por jóvenes Mexicanos con mucho talento, entre los cuales menciono al multifacético artista Jose Luis Badalt, quien es el protagonista de éste film, que sin el uso de su voz, simplemente con lenguaje corporal y plasmando emociones nos transmite esa agonía que puede causarnos una codependencia a una droga, a la vida, a la muerte, al amor o a nada. Somos personas que necesitamos un tipo de vicio para poder sobrevivir, solo que hay que tener cuidado pues muchas veces en nuestro intento de escape, podemos perder no sólo la vida, sino hasta el rumbo de nuestros sueños o dejar de concebirlos.

Estoy muy orgulloso del excelente trabajo que realizaron Diegoberto y Daniel Capri; amé la fotografía, amé en particular la última toma y el inicio a contraluz.
