2011 The year that is almost ending was exquisitely rich in music, art and creation.
So many amazing artists released their albums this year, it was a pleasure to listen to them.
I'm now featuring the best albums of 2011, with no doubts and restrictions, 'cause I love perfection
and this is very close to that.

Music is a very important part in our lives, more than what we can even notice.
We all have a specific song for every moment we live, we all have that song that inspires us.
Music is the soundtrack of our lives and memories. A perfume can takes us to a certain moment
when we feel it again but music can completely relive a memory. Music is pure and invisible magic.
Well, not so invisible nowadays, music videos are the best complement for a song.

To expose properly my case, if you watched the music video for "Follow Rivers" you know what I mean.

The best album of this year is unquestionably "Wounded Rhymes" by the one and only, the girl with the velvet voice:
Lykke Li.
The first song released of this album was the explosive "Get Some", the hot and wild words of this song
shook the bones of the world. The second single was the indescribably beautiful "Follow Rivers" whose music video
directed by Tarik Saleh was like watching a fragment of my life in T.V. The video is a gem. Lykke Li is one of the
best artists of this century.

When Lady GaGa said earlier this year that her album was to be the best album of the decade, she didn't joke.
"Born This Way" has it all to be a classic. It's rock, it's pop, it's electro, it's the future.
Born this way, the first and homonym single is already the anthem for all those who are different in one way or another.
Then Judas came, The Edge of Glory (one of my favorite tracks of the entire album), You & I, her rock, country whiskey mixed single with a shocking and hot video and now she's releasing Marry The Night, my favorite track of this album that is an important
part in my daily playlist.
Lady GaGa doesn't need descriptions, she's unbelievable wonderful.


Born This Way

The revelation for many people, this 2011 it was Adele. The anger, sadness and depth of her heart conquered our senses when she released "21", the album titled by the age she was when she wrote it. This extraordinary album full of strong ballads and powerful melodies was born after a painful breakup of our loved song bird.
The first single was Rolling in the Deep that introduces us to the world of the pain, sadness and heartbreak. Adele's voice is a haven of angels and dragons, she can make you cry or make you feel better with just a song.
This album is the best-selling one of the year. Adele is now an icon, she deserves to be in the place she is now.
It takes a lot, to admit, with humility to whom we owe much of what we accomplished, directly or indirectly, and Adele did it. She confessed on her blog that she is who she is (in part) because of Amy Winehouse. How amazing is that?

And along with the ballads that impact our hearts, here comes the beautiful and talented Beyoncé with one of her best albums so far "4".
I love that she opted for the romantic side and could create a masterpiece with each of the songs included in this album that seems to have been designed to make love. The first released single was the catchy and noisy "Run The World (Girls)" like a second part of Single Ladies.
I love Beyonce, she is unpredictable. When the world was waiting for another album full of dance songs, Beyoncé gave us an album full of love, passion and feelings that go beyond the clubs. She took the reins of her career and gave birth to an album that could well be a myth in some years, with songs such as 1+1, I Miss You, Rather Die Young, Love on Top, Countdown, I Was Here (composed by Diane Warren) and the rest of the tracks. Believe, this album is delicious to listen and feel. When it comes to THE VOICE, Beyoncé is the voice. Hands down.

Now we need someone like Natalia Kills, she's full of fire and her album "Perfectionist" is that, it's perfect. Her sounds are unique and plagued with her essence.
The first single Zombie is amazing. She looks like a panther and kills it every time she sings.
If you still don't know who she is, give her a try and buy her album. You will love it.

Björk now gives us a truly and genuine master piece, an album full of life and mysticism. It is a challenge for this great artist, to outdo herself whenever she decides to release an album. "Biophilia" is one of the best albums of her career.
Björk's voice has evolved, you can feel every color and shade of her voice, her love for nature makes her write songs about the earth and our so polluted world.
I miss songs like Pagan Poetry or Cocoon, I mean, I miss Björk Singing because of the love she feels for a man, somehow, her love songs are accidentally the best love songs I've ever heard.
Björk is a human tsunami and she makes it clear with this extraordinary album.


Biophilia

I feel so lucky to have been alive to enjoy the last album that Tony BennetT released the world. I love jazz and soul, I love blues and the amazing, classic songs that only an artist of the size of this great man could sing. "Duets II" is the second part of collaborations that Tony made with the greatest singers of our times.
In this part, Tony sang with Lady GaGa, Mariah Carey, Alejandro Sanz, John Mayer, Michael Bublé, Aretha Frankling among others but The most awaited and acclaimed artist was Amy Winehouse, she recorded with Tony the classic Body & Soul and was her last recording did it in March of this year, then, sadly she passed away on July 23.
So that's why this album is so special for all of us. That was the reason that this album became the first number one for Tony BennetT on the Hot 200 of Billboard charts.
I'll die listening to this album. It's already a classic.

Coldplay just released their new album titled "Mylo Xyloto". I love Coldplay, they always amaze me and this album deserves to be in your collection. It's perfectly great.
I love the first single Every Tear is a Waterfall. There is more to come from them, I just can't wait.

Now the albums that I'm longing to have in my hands, they are about to be released and my patience has betrayed me.

Lioness : Hidden Treasures by the immortal Amy Winehouse will be released in December 5th as her posthumous legacy.
This album will win a Grammy, I can feel it. Please buy it when it's released 'cause all the earnings will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
That's our chance to help to help.
Amy will live forever, the body has gone but the soul still remains among us. Feel it, listen.

"Talk That Talk" by the gorgeous and astonishing Rihanna, it's the new album to be released within a few days. Including the first single, the smashing hit We Found Love that it's a number one on Billboar Hot 100. Rihanna is so fierce, she's on fire. 2012 will be her year, well deserved.

There is so much talent and great music but only a few albums were wonderful enough to create history, one song at a time.
